Melissa Murphy

Melissa Murphy is a highly accomplished medical professional currently serving as Chief of Surgery at Kent Hospital since July 2020. In addition to this role, Melissa has been an Assistant Professor at Brown Medical School and an Instructor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School since September 2018 and October 2013, respectively. As a Colon and Rectal Surgeon at Brigham and Women's Hospital since July 2013, Melissa brings extensive clinical expertise to the field. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University School of Public Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from UC San Diego.
