Eric Hobbs, J.D., MBA, serves as the Vice President of Legal and General Counsel at Kent Outdoors since September 2021, providing strategic legal and business advice at the C-suite level and assisting with M&A transactions. In addition, Eric has been the Board Secretary for Eyland Spirits since September 2020, applying extensive business acumen to guide the company through strategic decisions while capitalizing on market trends for sustainable growth. Eric's prior experience includes serving as General Counsel and Corporate Officer at Cascade Designs from November 2003 to September 2021, where expertise in legal affairs and business strategy facilitated complex mergers and acquisitions. Eric holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Juris Doctor in Intellectual Property Law from Seattle University School of Law, and a BA in Economics from the University of Washington.

We’re Kent Outdoors and we understand. We give brands and teams the support and resources they need — and we get out of the way. We’ve been doing what we do since 1959. That’s a long time — to try a lot of things, to hold on to what works and learn and move on from what doesn’t, to really get to know the territory. We’ve learned a lot about what makes leading brands tick — and how to best help them serve their outdoor-enthusiast communities. We’ve worked with some of the iconic names and best-made products on the water. And we’d like to think we’ve helped those brands transform many lives. Now, we’re bringing that insider knowledge to a larger number of outdoor brands. Because, we’ve realized, there’s a very powerful common thread.
