Amanda Paulus

Amanda Paulus has a wealth of experience in the higher education sector. Amanda started their career in 2010 as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Living Direct. In 2011, they joined The University of Akron as a Graduate Assistant and later became an Academic Advisor. Amanda then moved on to Kent State University, where they held various roles. Amanda began as an Admissions Specialist in 2012 and eventually became the Director of Community Engaged Learning. Currently, they serve as the Senior Director of Community Engaged Learning and External Relations at Kent State University.

Amanda Paulus holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from The Ohio State University, which was awarded in 2009. Amanda then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from The University of Akron, completing it in 2012. Currently, Amanda is enrolled at Kent State University, working towards a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, with an expected completion date in 2022. In 2016, they obtained certification as a Guardian Ad Litem through the Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) Summit County.
