Danny Porter

Danny Porter has a diverse work experience, with their current position being the Sr. Associate Director of Digital Communications at Kent State University. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Director of Digital Communications at the same university. Danny also served as the Digital Director at the Ohio Democratic Party and as a Digital Project Manager at Everytown for Gun Safety. Danny's career began as an English Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET), and they also worked as an Outbound Writer for Obama for America. Additionally, they gained experience as a Web Assistant at The Center for Strategic & International Studies and as a General Laborer at Central Coated Products.

Danny Porter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (IR) and Communication Studies from Kent State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008.
