Emily Reese

Emily Reese is an experienced educator and academic professional currently serving as the English Festival Co-Coordinator at Youngstown State University since August 2018, where responsibilities include planning an annual festival that attracts nearly 3,000 students. Concurrently, Emily holds positions as an Adjunct Professor and a Teaching Fellow at Kent State University, and as a Writing Assessment Specialist with OnRamps at The University of Texas at Austin. Previous roles include Academic Advisor and Adjunct Professor of English at Eastern Gateway Community College, along with a customer service position as a Barista at Starbucks, where notable dedication led to a Partner of the Quarter award. Emily’s academic credentials include a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from Kent State University, an MA in English Language and Literature from Youngstown State University, and a BA in Political Science and Government with a focus on International Relations from Walsh University.
