Marty Ropog

Marty Ropog serves as the Director of the Ohio Literacy Resource Center at Kent State University since September 1996, overseeing the center's grants and projects. Prior to this, Marty held roles including Assistant Director - Technology and Technical Assistant within the same organization, where significant contributions were made in implementing technology-related projects and providing support and training to Ohio Adult Basic and Literacy Education programs. Earlier career experience includes positions as Office Manager for grounds at Tanglewood Country Club and Chagrin Valley Country Club, focusing on budget management, payroll coordination, and inventory oversight. Marty holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Mount Union.
