Nelson Burns

Nelson Burns is an experienced professional in the fields of education and nonprofit management. As an Adjunct Professor at Kent State University since September 1999, Nelson teaches web-based courses in the Masters Public Administration program, specializing in Nonprofit Fundraising and Nonprofit Board and Executive Relations. Nelson has served as Board President of the Coleman Foundation since 1986 and has been the CEO of Coleman Professional Services since September 1985, overseeing 440 employees and managing an annual budget of $20 million. Educational qualifications include an MRC in Rehabilitation from Bowling Green State University (1975-1976) and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology from Wittenberg University (1970-1974).
