Aaron Kagawa

Aaron Kagawa is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and product management. Currently serving as the Director of Platform Engineering at Kentik since July 2018, Aaron has played a critical role in advancing network observability solutions. As a co-founder of Second Wave Technologies, a software development consulting agency, and a volunteer architect and technical lead for the nonprofit Native Stories, Aaron demonstrates a commitment to both professional and community-oriented projects. Previous roles include Vice President of Product and Technology at DataHouse, Engineering Manager at LiveAction Network Management Software, and significant engineering management positions at Referentia Systems, Inc. Aaron began a strong academic foundation with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
