April Zik

April Zik has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. April started their career at Cox Radio Louisville in 2001, where they worked as a Senior Account Manager until 2005. April then became the General Sales Manager until 2006. In the same year, they joined the Kentucky Derby Festival as a Marketing Manager and held this role until 2015. At that point, they transitioned to the position of Director of Sponsorship Sales, which they held until February 2021. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Sponsorships at the Kentucky Derby Festival.

April Zik attended Western Kentucky University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. April'smajor was Advertising, and they also pursued a minor in Marketing.
