Matthew Gibson

Matthew Gibson has extensive work experience with the Kentucky Derby Festival. Matthew first joined the organization in 1997 as the Senior Vice President of Events, where they managed and supervised the Events Team. In this role, they also served as a liaison for government and disaster services, focusing on crowd dynamics, safety, and security. In October 2019, Matthew was promoted to the position of President & CEO of the Kentucky Derby Festival, where they currently serve.
