Chris Goodlett

Director of Curatorial & Educational Affairs at Kentucky Derby Museum

Chris Goodlett is a seasoned museum professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Curatorial & Educational Affairs at the Kentucky Derby Museum since July 2010. In this role, Chris is a key member of the Museum's senior leadership team, responsible for producing and managing significant expenses. Previously, Chris held the position of Senior Curator of Collections, leading initiatives in collections management and implementing the Museum's first strategic collections plan while curating an average of five exhibitions annually. Prior experience includes a curatorial role at the Kentucky Historical Society, where Chris acquired and interpreted artifacts for exhibitions and publications, as well as serving as the Community Services Coordinator, enhancing local history initiatives statewide. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Public History from Murray State University.
