Jessica Whitehead

Jessica Whitehead currently serves as the Curator of Collections and Collections Manager at the Kentucky Derby Museum, a position held since November 2011, where responsibilities include maintaining and cataloging the permanent collection, as well as supporting exhibit creation. Prior experience includes roles such as Inventory Control Manager, overseeing substantial inventory management and team supervision, and Retail Website Coordinator, focusing on website maintenance and product management. Jessica has also worked as a Guest Curator at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, producing an exhibition, and contributed as a Production Assistant at Duckworks Inc., supporting a documentary project. Earlier experience at Duggan Library involved archival accessioning and organization. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Hanover College.
