Katrina Helmer is an accomplished professional in communication and journalism with a diverse background in various roles. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Kentucky Derby Museum, Katrina has previously held positions such as Communications & Social Media Manager and Metro Council Majority Caucus Communications Director for Louisville Metro Government. Katrina's experience extends to the newsroom, having worked as a News Reporter at WDRB News and WMBF, as well as a News Producer at WTOL. A graduate of Huntington University with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Katrina also has a foundational education from Noblesville High School.
