William Ryan

William Ryan serves as the Director of Communications at the Library of Congress since May 2018, having previously held the position of Deputy Director of Communications. Prior experience includes roles as Supervisory Program Manager at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Director of Strategic Engagement and Outreach at the Office of Executive Councils. William Ryan has also worked at the White House Office of Management and Budget as Director of Communications for the Performance Improvement Council, and held various positions within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Department of the Treasury. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from The Australian National University.
