Paul Karpecki

Paul Karpecki serves as the Director of Corneal Services and the Advanced OSD Clinic at the Kentucky Eye Institute since September 2016 and has been an Associate Professor at the University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Optometry since April 2017. In addition to their academic role, Paul holds the position of Global Ambassador at the Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society since January 2018. Previous professional experience includes serving as Medical Director at Keplr Vision from February 2018 to February 2022, and as a clinician at Gaddie Eye Centers until February 2020. Paul also has a substantial background in corneal services and ocular disease research from roles at Koffler Vision Group and Cincinnati Eye Institute. Paul received an OD from Indiana University Bloomington and completed a residency in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Salus University following completion of the Wharton School program in 2006.
