Kentucky League of Cities
Deron Sizemore has over 17 years of IT experience, currently serving as IT Systems and Support Manager at the Kentucky League of Cities since April 2010, with prior experience as an IT Support Specialist at the Kentucky School Boards Association from April 2006 to December 2009. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining hardware and software for over 50 end users, managing network resources and security, responding to helpdesk requests, and providing user training. Additionally, Deron is responsible for website design, utilizing HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create front-end solutions. Deron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Morehead State University.
Kentucky League of Cities
The Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) is an association of more than 380 Kentucky cities. KLC provides cities, elected city leaders and municipal employees with a number of services including legislative advocacy, legal services, policy development, community development, research and training, as well as enterprise services such as financing for cities. In addition, KLC Insurance Services is the largest municipal insurance carrier in Kentucky. KLC is overseen by a board of directors representing communities of all sizes and is recognized as one of the nation's most innovative and successful leagues of its kind. KLC was formed in 1927 when 12 Kentucky cities came together to create a unified front on common legislative issues and to benefit from economies of scale for purchases. Today, KLC continues to respond to our members' changing needs. In 1987, cities came to KLC because they could not afford or find insurance. The result was what is now called Kentucky League of Cities Insurance Services (KLCIS), a member-owned insurance pool. Mission Statement: The Kentucky League of Cities serves as the united voice of cities by supporting community innovation, effective leadership and quality governance.
