Jason Byrd, CIA, CFE has extensive experience in internal audit and finance roles. Currently serving as an Audit Manager at Kentucky Lottery Corporation, Jason oversees audit engagements, prepares audit reports, and ensures compliance with professional standards. Prior to this, Jason worked at Louisville Metro Government as an Internal Audit Manager, where Jason conducted complex audits, managed internal audit operations, and updated the Internal Audit website. With a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Louisville, Jason has a strong foundation in finance and auditing practices.

Established in 1989, the Kentucky Lottery was the first lottery in the United States to be implemented as a corporation. Our mission is clear – we fuel imagination and fund education for ALL Kentuckians. This is done through lottery proceeds funding college scholarship and grant programs with over $5 Billion in funding since 1999, including every dime ever awarded in the popular KEES Scholarship program. In order to do this, our plan is based on a structure which represents our operation. The most important part of our structure is the top - Proceeds, represented by the scholarship and grant programs we fund.
