Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previously, Chris served as a firmware engineer at the same company, focusing on firmware development and diagnostic tools. Additional experience includes electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and working as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier roles include working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
