Jim Grohman has held a variety of roles in the professional world since 1992. Jim began their career as an Infantry Officer (Captain) in the United States Marine Corps, where they were responsible for training Marines for ground combat missions. In 1999, they joined Perot Systems Government Services as a Systems/Application Administrator. In 2002, they became the Director of Technical Services at GEOBRIDGE Corporation, where they consulted and implemented single sign on and security systems, and managed internal systems and provided technical support. From 2004 to 2013, they worked at Event 360, where they held the roles of Vice President of Operations, Vice President, Project Management and IT, and General Manager. In 2013, they became the Vice President of Operations at Plenty Consulting. Since 2016, they have been an Adjunct Faculty in the Graduate School of Management at Robert Morris University, Chicago, IL, and a Management Consultant at Kenway Consulting.
Jim Grohman attended The Nichols School from 1985 to 1988, graduating with a High School diploma. Jim then went on to the University of Rochester, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics between 1988 and 1992. In 1997, they completed a Master of Business Administration at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, majoring in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2010, they earned a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, and in 2016, they became a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
