CS Samwel Rambo is a Senior Legal Officer at Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) since August 2016, where responsibilities include drafting legal pleadings, attending court, and managing case progress alongside budget and work plan implementation. Prior to this role, Samwel served as the Ag. Manager Legal Services, assisting in board meeting preparations and monitoring management decisions. Previous legal experience includes positions as Head of Litigation at Oluoch-Olunya & Associates Advocates and Associate Advocate at Muthaura Mugambi Ayugi & Njonjo Advocates, among others, since beginning a legal career as a legal intern at the African Development Bank. Samwel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Laws specializing in International Trade and Investments Law, also from the University of Nairobi, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from Moi University.
