Steven Munzyu

Steven Munzyu is an experienced professional in social safeguards and resettlement, currently serving as a Senior Social Safeguards and Resettlement Officer at Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited since February 2010. In this role, Steven is involved in all processes of electricity transmission from generation to distribution points. Additionally, Steven has held the position of Senior Socio-Economist at the same company, focusing on Resettlement Action Plan Implementation, Research, and Development. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager and later Planning Officer at Lake Basin Development Authority from August 2007 to February 2010, and as Quality Assurance Manager at Benvar Estates LTD from December 2004 to July 2007. Steven began a career in quality assurance at Homegrown (K) LTD, where the role included managing compliance with international standards. Steven holds a degree from Egerton University, having studied there from 1992 to 1997.
