Henry Mutai

Henry Mutai serves as the Director and Chief Executive Officer at the Kenya School of Law since March 2018. Concurrently, Henry has been a Lead Consultant at Afrilex Consulting since September 2014, focusing on research and publications related to international trade, regional integration, and intellectual property, along with organizing training workshops. Henry's previous experience includes a position as a Senior Lecturer at Moi University, where responsibilities involved lecturing, student supervision, and departmental administration. As Managing Director of the Kenya Industrial Property Institute from May 2011 to April 2014, Henry provided strategic leadership and managed day-to-day operations, while also serving as the Registrar of Trade Marks. Henry holds a Ph.D. in International Trade Law from the University of Melbourne, an LL.M. from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi, among other qualifications.
