Allan Oginga is a seasoned professional in health financing and social protection with extensive experience in various leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Social Protection Lead for the USAID Health Equity Resource Optimization Project at Kenyatta University since February 2024, Allan previously held the position of Health Financing Lead for the USAID Dumisha Afya Program at AMPATH Kenya from September 2023 to January 2024. Past roles include Advisor for Health Financing at Living Goods, Technical Advisor for Health Systems Strengthening at The Fred Hollows Foundation, and Regional Hub Manager at IntraHealth International. Allan’s earlier career also involved leadership positions at Amref Health Africa Tanzania and the Community Health Financing Association for Eastern Africa, among others, alongside a strong academic background with a Master’s degree in Development Economics from Wright State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics Mathematics from Egerton University.
