Nick Gianferrari

Nick Gianferrari is a partner in the Crime and Regulatory Team based at the Manchester Office. Prior to joining Keoghs, Nick spent 10 years at Clyde & Co/BLM as a partner in a similar role in their Safety Health and Environment Team. Nick also spent 15 years as a Duty Solicitor, a serious and complex crime specialist as a Director of Maidments Solicitors.

Nick acts for insurers, organizations, and individuals providing representation in police, HSE, Fire Authority (PACE interviews), motor crime matters, inquests, and regulatory inquiries.

Nick assists clients in promptly identifying and presenting robust defenses to allegations and providing reasoned, technical advice in complex investigations. He supports clients from the first interview stage all the way through to courtroom representation in both the Magistrates and Crown Courts.

Nick advises clients on commercially sensitive matters and has a clear understanding of the reputational issues often at stake and what is required to secure the best outcome. His extensive criminal litigation experience ensures a thorough understanding of the criminal justice system.

Nick is a member of The Law Society’s Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme and the Health and Safety Lawyers Association.

He has submitted articles for publication on such matters as the impact of distraction whilst driving, a podcast on corporate manslaughter, and delivers major incident management training to clients about what to expect during a regulatory investigation.

Additionally, Nick has been appointed as Fee paid Mental Health Tribunal Judge.
