Daniel Martucci has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of project management, transport planning, and civil infrastructure. Daniel is currently working as a Project Manager at Keolis Downer. Previously, they held the role of Senior Associate in Transport Planning at Jacobs, where they played a key role in studying the future of Eyre Highway for DIT's Strategic Freight Study. Daniel also worked as a Senior Transport Planner at the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, where they contributed to the planning development of major regional highway programs. Additionally, they operated their own consulting business, Martucci Consulting, providing project management, transport planning, and advisory services to clients such as the Western Australian Public Transport Authority and Journey Beyond Rail. Earlier in their career, they held various project management roles at the City of Adelaide, City of Onkaparinga, City of Salisbury, and the Department of Transport in Western Australia. Martucci's experience also includes a role as a Senior Engineer at BHP Billiton, where they assisted in the planning of civil infrastructure projects for the expansion of Olympic Dam mine.

Daniel Martucci earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Applied Geology from the University of South Australia, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Diploma in Management (Government) at the Management & Research Centre. Daniel also obtained the certification of Chartered Professional Engineer from Engineers Australia in June 2020.
