Martyn Chymera

Martyn Chymera currently serves as the Head of Engineering and Asset Management at KeolisAmey Metrolink since May 2021. With a robust background in engineering management, Martyn has held multiple leadership positions including Non Executive Director at the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain since June 2015 and E&M Maintenance Manager at KEOLIS AMEY METROLINK LIMITED from April 2018 to May 2021. Prior experience includes Maintenance Performance and Reliability Manager for TfL's Elizabeth Line Operations Team, and Systems Performance Engineer for London Underground, where significant projects on systems modeling and performance evaluation were conducted. Martyn also held key roles in professional organizations such as Chairman of Young Railway Professionals and Chair of UK Ukrainian Sports Supporters Club. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Engineering from The University of Manchester and a Master of Engineering from Durham University, specializing in energy storage and electronic engineering, respectively.
