Sikandar Atiq

Sikandar Atiq has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Investment Management Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs. In 2014, they became a Global Shaper and Director of Finance for the Edmonton Hub in the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. In 2015, they took on the role of Board Chair for the Mosquers Film Festival, North America's Premier Muslim Film Festival. In 2016, they became the President of both CRDN Edmonton & Northern Alberta and The Press Gallery Inc. In 2017, they founded and became the President of Kepler Academy, an innovative early learning and childcare company. Sikandar also became a Seed Investor and Board Member at Vytalize Health. In 2019, they joined Next Equities as the Vice President and later became the President and Managing Director. Sikandar is also a Member of YPO since 2019. Throughout their career, Sikandar Atiq has demonstrated leadership, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to community impact.

Sikandar Atiq completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with Distinction in Strategic Management from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Sikandar then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Strategy at the NYU Stern School of Business from 2012 to 2014.
