Tao Ran

Tao Ran has worked in the field of Computer Vision since 2011. Tao began their career as a PhD Researcher at the University of Amsterdam, where they performed research on Computer Vision, with a focus on visual instance search from one example, supervised by Prof. Arnold Smeulders. In 2014, they took on a role as a Visiting Researcher at The DVMM Lab at Columbia University. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Researcher at QUVA Lab, University of Amsterdam. Tao currently holds the position of Senior Research and Development Engineer at Kepler Vision Technologies.

Tao Ran received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam in 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Leiden University in 2011.
