Dr. Derreck Kayongo

Dr. Derreck Kayongo serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Sharing Sacred Spaces, Inc. and as the Founder of Environmental Halidom, which manufactures biodegradable utensils. Known for delivering over 400 speeches as a speaker for Keppler Speakers, key topics include corporate social responsibility and successful fundraising strategies. Dr. Kayongo founded The Global Soap Project, recycling used hotel soap for vulnerable populations, and served as the CEO of the Center for Civil and Human Rights, elevating global visibility for civil rights issues. Past roles include Senior Advocacy Regional Coordinator for CARE, Adjunct Professor at Beulah Heights Bible College, Regional Director for Amnesty International, and Program Director for the American Friends Service Committee. Dr. Kayongo holds an Honorary Doctorate in Science from Thomas Jefferson University, an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Oglethorpe University, a BA in Business Administration and Management from Messiah University, and a Master's in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
