Ritesh Raghavan has a diverse range of work experience in the electrical engineering field. Ritesh started their career as a Trainee Engineer at the Kerala State Electricity Board, where they gained experience in operation, maintenance, and testing of relays in substations and generating stations. Ritesh then worked as an Electrical Erection Engineer at GE Power Controls, focusing on warship building projects at the Mazagaon Dock site in Mumbai. Ritesh later joined the Kerala State Electricity Board as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, where they were responsible for the maintenance of generator transformers, auxiliary power supply systems, and substations.
During their career, Ritesh also worked as a Project Manager in various companies. Notably, they worked at Al Haider Company in Saudi Arabia, where they handled the planning and execution of electrical turnkey projects, including the construction and maintenance of transmission lines and substations. Ritesh also worked as a Project Manager at Mott MacDonald Company in Oman, where they managed the construction of GIS grid stations, transmission lines, and underground cable circuits for OETC projects.
Ritesh's roles also include Assistant Executive Engineer positions at the Kerala State Electricity Board, where they were involved in various electrical engineering projects. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Kerala State Electricity Board.
