Sunil K Nair

Deputy Chief Engineer at Kerala State Electricity Board

Sunil K Nair has a strong and diverse work experience in the field of engineering with a focus on the electricity sector. Sunil started their career in 1995 as an Assistant Engineer on contract with KSEB, where they worked on various projects including the Lower Periyar Hydro Electric Project and the implementation of Distribution Billing Computerisation Project. Sunil also served as a Project Engineer, Protection and Testing Engineer, Operation & Maintenance Engineer, and Assistant Director MIS during their tenure at KSEB. In 2006, they joined SEWA as a Planning Engineer before returning to Kerala State Electricity Board in 2008. At KSEB, they served as an Assistant Executive Engineer/Project Manager and later as a Project Manager/Project Engineer/Assistant Executive Engineer. In 2016, they joined KSEB Limited as an Assistant Executive Engineer before being promoted to Executive Engineer in 2018. Most recently, they have been working as a Deputy Chief Engineer at KSEBL, starting from 2022. In 2023, they will continue their role as a Deputy Chief Engineer at Kerala State Electricity Board.

Sunil K Nair completed an Executive Management Programme (eMep) from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech) from Mahatma Gandhi University between 1987 and 1992.
