Tidjane Thiam

Tidjane Thiam is a Director at Kering. Tidjane was previously the Group Chief Executive Officer at Credit Suisse from January 2015 to February 2020. Prior to that, they were the Group Chief Executive at Prudential plc from January 2008 to December 2015. Tidjane has also held the position of CEO Aviva Europe at Aviva from November 2002 to December 2008. Tidjane began their career as a Partner at McKinsey & Company from January 2000 to December 2002. Tidjane has also worked in the government as the Secretary of Development and Planning for Côte d'Ivoire from January 1998 to December 1999.

Tidjane Thiam attended the École Polytechnique, where they studied advanced mathematics and physics. Tidjane then went on to earn their MBA from INSEAD with distinction. Finally, they studied mathematics at the Lycée Sainte-Geneviève.
