Nicolas Amiot has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Nicolas started as a Final year trainee at Télecom ParisTech in 2007. Nicolas then worked as a Research Engineer and Ph.D. Student at IETR from 2008 to 2010, focusing on the design of a simulation platform for localization applications. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Instructor at Université de Rennes 1. After that, they worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher at IETR and Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rennes, specializing in various projects related to radio propagation and human mobility. Since 2018, Nicolas has been employed at Kerlink, where they started as a Geo-location Engineer and later transitioned to the role of a Backend R&D Engineer.
Nicolas Amiot has a strong education background in the field of signal processing and telecommunications. In 2011, they enrolled at Université de Rennes I and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in this field by 2013. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rennes.
Before their Master's program, Nicolas attended CPGE ATS Jacquard from 2003 to 2004, where they focused on Electronic and Mechanic studies. Furthermore, they earned a BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) degree in Electronics from Lycée Jacquard during the period of 2001 to 2003.
In addition to their formal education, Nicolas has also gained certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Nicolas obtained the certification for "Introduction to Designing Data Lakes on AWS" from Coursera in April 2021, and in October 2016, they completed a course on Machine Learning, earning a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates.
