Jo Ann Herrera

Jo Ann Herrera is an experienced professional with a diverse background in fire prevention, child support, crisis response, and loss prevention. Currently serving as a Fire Prevention Inspector for the Kern County Fire Department since April 2024, Jo Ann has also held a role as a Child Support Officer II for Kern County since October 2018, where responsibilities include conducting interviews and obtaining documentation related to child support matters. Jo Ann has extensive experience with the City of Los Angeles' Crisis Response Team, providing immediate intervention in traumatic incidents. Previous positions include Regional Loss Prevention Manager at LP Innovations, Executive Team Leader in Assets Protection at TARGET, and various roles in loss prevention and counseling. Jo Ann holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield.
