James Peek

James Peek is an experienced educator and researcher with a diverse background in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) across various age groups and contexts. Currently serving as Camp Director and Teaching Artist at InterAct English gGmbH, James specializes in creative lessons that integrate the arts into language learning for children and teenagers. In addition, James teaches ESL for business at KERN Global Language Services, focusing on tailored training for professional needs. Previous roles include teaching ESL for kindergarten at Englisch in Hamburg and working as a policy researcher in the Behavioural Insights Unit for the Department of Family and Community Services (NSW), where James conducted qualitative and quantitative research to inform public policy. James holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Science degree from UNSW, focusing on Human Resource Management and Psychology, and has experience in human resources and student mentorship through various internships and fellowships.
