Katherine Avery

Katherine Avery is a marketing and media professional with extensive experience in producing and coordinating projects across various platforms. Currently serving as a Marketing Coordinator at Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Center since March 2022, Katherine manages the company's social media presence and advertising strategies. Prior roles include Executive Producer at KGET-TV 17 since January 2020, overseeing a team of producers, and a Producer at KATU News from August 2014 to November 2019, where Katherine crafted content for a two-hour newscast. Previous experience includes producing and serving as Assignment Editor at KBAK, freelance journalism, and executive support roles. Katherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from California State University, Bakersfield, along with education from Edinburgh Napier University and Bakersfield College.
