Joseph Parrella

Joe Parrella is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in manufacturing and process engineering. Currently serving as VP of CMC at Kernal Biologics since June 2023, Joe previously held the position of Head of Process Engineering at Arranta Bio from June 2020 to June 2023. Joe has also contributed to organizations like Translate Bio as Associate Director of External Manufacturing and Seres Therapeutics as Senior Engineer in Manufacturing. Earlier roles include Senior Engineer at EMD Millipore and Bristol-Myers Squibb, as well as Engineer at Millipore Corporation. Joe Parrella earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, between 1999 and 2004.
