Artem Filipyev

Artem Filipyev is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Legal Director at Kernel since April 2023. Prior to this role, Artem held various positions at ПАО «АрселорМиттал Кривой Рог», where responsibilities included Deputy CEO for Legal, GR and PR, as well as General Counsel from September 2018 to April 2023. Previous experience includes roles at Verallia, National University of Ostroh Academy, Saint-Gobain, Rechtsanwalt-Ukraine, and the Legal Initiatives Charity Foundation. Artem possesses extensive expertise in private international law, commercial law, labor law, regulatory matters, and corporate relationships, alongside academic contributions as a Professor and former Acting Dean of Law School. Artem holds a PhD in Private International Law from the Institute of International Relations Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and achieved a Master's degree in Law from the National University of Ostroh Academy.
