Atanas Atanasov

Atanas Atanasov is a seasoned professional in clinical data management with extensive experience across multiple organizations in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Data Management at Keros Therapeutics since July 2024, Atanasov previously held similar director roles at Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. and held various managerial positions at Merck, Acceleron Pharma, and WorldCare Clinical. With a strong background in executing clinical data management strategies, overseeing regulatory submissions, and leading cross-functional teams, Atanasov has made significant contributions to project management and data integrity throughout their career. Additionally, Atanasov has a military background, having served in the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense and NATO, where responsibilities included project leadership and operational planning. Atanasov holds a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a Master of Science in Engineering and Maritime Navigation from the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy.
