Ashwini Shevade is currently serving as an RD&A Senior Scientist Proteins at Kerry Group since September 2023. Prior to this role, Ashwini worked at Glanbia Ingredients Ireland from September 2019 to October 2023, initially as a Senior R&D Technologist specializing in beverage and plant-based new product development, and previously as an Oats and Grains Technologist, with a focus on various cereals including oats and quinoa. Ashwini's academic background includes a PhD in Food Science and Technology from University College Cork, where the doctoral project centered on developing fortified blended foods using a mixture of dried fermented milk and cereals for food-insecure regions. Earlier experiences include an internship at Cadbury India, where knowledge of chocolate production and quality analysis was gained, and a trainee position at Gokul - Kolhapur District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd. Ashwini holds a Master's degree in Food Science from University College Cork and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Kolhapur Institute of Technology's College of Engineering.
