Benjamin Wenzel

Benjamin Wenzel is an experienced procurement and commodities director with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Commodities at Kerry since April 2006, Benjamin leads procurement and risk management for a wide range of raw materials including dairy, grains, and cocoa across North America. Previous roles include Director of Procurement and Vice President of Procurement for the Americas Region at Kerry, where Benjamin focused on cost reduction and operational efficiency while ensuring product quality. Benjamin also has experience as a Programme Manager, shaping procurement strategies within organizations, and has co-owned a family farming business producing corn and soybeans in Illinois since 2008. Earlier career positions at The Kraft Heinz Company included roles in energy procurement and dairy risk management. Benjamin holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
