Marika Laiho

Marika Laiho is a seasoned communications specialist with extensive experience in both healthcare and cultural sectors. Currently, Marika is employed at Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue as a Communications Specialist since January 2023, having previously held similar roles at Keski-Suomen sairaanhoitopiiri, where Marika contributed to the communication and marketing strategy for the New Hospital in Central Finland project. Marika's background also includes project coordination for the Live Herring association and producing film festivals for the Film Center of Central Finland. Holding a Master's degree in Communication from the University of Jyväskylä and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Management from Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences, Marika combines strong project planning and communication skills with a commitment to enhancing community engagement in various initiatives.
