Katriina Ahtee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Katriina is currently working as a Project Director in the Sustainability and Public Affairs unit at Kesko - K-Group, where they are responsible for the development of reporting and data required for the new CSRD sustainability reporting, with a focus on the company's workforce. Katriina is also leading Kesko's occupational health services strategic initiative in HR. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Wellbeing at Kesko Oyj - K Group, overseeing wellbeing initiatives from February 2023 to January 2024.

In their previous role, they held the position of Director of Employee Experience & Wellbeing at Kesko - K-Group from April 2021 to February 2023, and as Director of Wellbeing & Safety from November 2015 to March 2021 at the same company. Before that, they worked at Accountor HR4 as a Senior Consultant, Coach, and Service Coordinator of Well-being at Work, specializing in research and consultation services. Katriina started their professional journey with Suomen Terveystalo Oy, where they served as the Manager of Well-being at Work Services from October 2010 to June 2012.

Katriina Ahtee's early career includes roles at Mutual Pension Insurance Company Varma as a Development Manager of Well-being at Work Services from August 2003 to October 2010 and as an HRD Consultant from August 1999 to September 2003. Katriina began their career as a Disaster Preparedness Officer at the Finnish Red Cross in January 1992, where they gained experience coordinating social welfare and psychological support in disasters and leading teams involved in disaster preparedness planning, including the coordination of psychologists during the Estonia ferry disaster in 1994.

Katriina Ahtee holds a Master of Social Sciences (M.Soc.Sc.) degree in Social Psychology from the University of Tampere, Finland. Katriina also obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Adult Education from the same university. Katriina has additional qualifications including certification as a Business Coach® from the Business Coaching Center, completion of the Leadership Academy program from Markkinointi-instituutti & Suomen Terveytalo Oy, and completion of the Executive HR program from HSEE Executive Education. Prior to their university studies, Katriina attended Sammon lukio for their secondary education.
