Marko Romppainen

Marko Romppainen is a highly experienced professional in supply chain management, currently serving as the Demand Planning Manager at Kesko since March 2014. Marko has held multiple roles at Kesko, including Development Manager and Planning Manager, focusing on S&OP process development, demand planning, and replenishment planning system (RELEX) development. Prior to Kesko, Marko worked at IBM Global Business Services as a Managing Consultant in Supply Chain Management, delivering projects for global clients, and held positions at Martela Oyj and Nokia, where responsibilities included team leadership, project management, and optimization of supply chain processes. Marko began a career at the Helsinki University of Technology's BIT Research Centre as a researcher. Marko holds a Master’s degree in Construction Economics from the University of Oulu.
