Pekka Vaittinen

Pekka Vaittinen has extensive experience in the technology and automotive sectors, currently serving as Business CIO for Grocery Trade and Car Trade at Kesko - K-Group since January 2018. Previously, Pekka held various managerial roles, including Head of ICT and Development and Development Manager at VV-Auto Group Oy from May 2005 to December 2017. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Metso Automation and a research role at Tampere University of Technology. Pekka holds a Master of Science in Energy and Process Technology and has pursued a Ph.D. in Energy and Process Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Automotive and Transportation Technology from Turku University of Applied Sciences.
