Manikandan Ravi is a highly experienced engineer specializing in neuromodulation and spinal cord injury research. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer II at Kessler Foundation since May 2018, Manikandan leads research studies that encompass experimental design, data collection, analysis, and presentation. Prior to this role, Manikandan was the Bioengineering Core Manager at the University of Louisville from July 2014 to May 2018, overseeing a team that developed innovative methods for epidural stimulation to aid individuals with paralysis. Earlier experience includes working as a Technical Services Engineer at St. Jude Medical and researching signal processing algorithms at the University of Texas at Arlington. Manikandan holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
