Kessler Institute For Rehabilitation
Rachel Parroco is an experienced occupational therapist currently working at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation since December 2022, focusing on inpatient rehabilitation. Prior experiences include managing caseloads in acute care and outpatient settings during fieldwork placements at Jersey City Medical Center and Intensive Therapeutics, Inc. Rachel also completed various fieldwork roles in community access, schools, and hospitals, providing therapy and support to diverse populations, including children and adults with a range of diagnoses. Education includes a Two-Tiered Accelerated Degree MS/OTD in Occupational Therapy from New York University and bachelor's degrees in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam and Baruch College. Furthermore, Rachel has held roles in physical therapy and as a volunteer observer in occupational therapy settings.
