Michael Phillips

Michael Phillips is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Superintendent at Kestrel Coal Resources since August 2023. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Anglo American as a Mechanical Project Engineer from February 2019 to August 2023, and at Glencore in various positions including Mechanical Project Officer and Mechanical Technician from July 2011 to February 2019. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from CQUniversity, completed in November 2022, as well as an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, obtained in February 2018. Michael's educational background also includes a Fitter & Turner qualification from TAFE Queensland, completed in July 2014.
