Kestrel Medical powered by NewFoundry
A fully managed, Electronic Data Capture (EDC) cloud platform, purpose-built to reduce IT barriers for medical and academic researchers. The platform was created to solve a persistent problem we experienced working with researchers at the University of Michigan and Michigan Medicine; The lack of a turn-key, secure, EDC (electronic data capture) platform that meets HIPAA and other NIH compliance requirements and can easily work with disparate data sources. We built Kestrel to be: • Fast - Deployed within 48 hours of a signed agreement • Affordable - Cloud-based platform starting at $500 / Month • Flexible - Allows researcher access to the latest devices and sources of data • Compliant - NIH and NSF grant requirements (e.g. HIPAA/PII/PHI) • Secure - Fully managed, 24/7 monitoring and reporting for the full life-cycle Kestrel removes barriers and gives researchers the ability to launch their research study with far fewer obstacles. We have deep experience working directly with healthcare researchers, clinicians, incubators, and tech transfers to bring ideas/needs quickly to reality whether it is proof of concept or commercialization. We also partner with software development organizations that create or want to create healthcare solutions.
