Frank Haluska has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Frank is currently the President and CEO of Kestrel Therapeutics since September 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Board of Governors at Handel and Haydn Society from 2019 to 2023.
From 2016 to 2020, Frank held multiple roles at Anchiano Therapeutics, including Director and President and Chief Executive Officer. Frank also worked as a Director at Elicio Therapeutics from 2017 to 2019.
Frank has a background in the military, serving as the State Air Surgeon for the Air National Guard in the United States Air Force from 2002 to 2018.
In the pharmaceutical industry, they held various positions at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including Chief Medical Officer and SVP of Clinical Research and Development, Chief Medical Officer and VP of Clinical Research and Development, and Senior Medical Director.
Frank has also worked in medical and academic institutions such as Tufts Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Brigham and Women's Hospital in various clinical and academic roles.
Frank Haluska has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Magna cum laude from Harvard University. Frank also holds a dual degree of Medical Doctor (M.D) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, they have completed a course on Military Joint Operations Planning and Strategy from the USAF Air War College, where they were recognized as an Excellent Graduate. Furthermore, Frank Haluska has also received training as a Flight Surgeon from the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine, where they were acknowledged as an Outstanding Graduate.
